Moving Wednesday Headway
By way of introduction, some time around the middle of March 2021 I made a commitment to write a weekly 'mini-column' until (at least) the FITCC** AGM in June, and to post them on <NextDoor.co.uk>, a 'hyper-local' social networking site. They didn't stay 'mini-' for very long - about a fortnight in fact. At the end of July I decided to move everything onto <SubStack.com>. Since I'd already created a <WordPress.com> site - <https ://DraytonMark.WordPress.com> - I kept the same prefix, hence <https ://DraytonMark.SubStack.com>. (But you knew that already, 'cause you're here, right?)

I have ante-dated these explanatory remarks to the date of my first Wed-Head, 17th March, and I've merged the text of the first original Wed-Head into the second, both of which were relatively brief: was still finding my feet, so to speak. From the third (31st March) Wed-Head onwards, all have their correct original date; only the second (24th March) is inauthentic, for the reason given. That decision also created the opportunity to maintain a table of contents in this ante-dated initial 'column', with which I conclude, viz:
